The Role: The Assistant Kitchen Manager is pivotal in supporting the culinary team, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring the delivery of top-quality dishes to our guests. This role is suited for someone who values tradition while embracing innovation, can lead with authority, and is meticulous about maintaining high standards. Responsibilities: Uphold and enforce kitchen protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in inventory management, ensuring supplies are ordered, stocked, and utilized efficiently. Supervise kitchen staff, providing clear directions and monitoring performance to ensure culinary excellence. Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to implement and refine kitchen processes, enhancing productivity and quality. Handle scheduling, training, and management of kitchen personnel, fostering a disciplined and cohesive team environment. Analyze operational challenges and provide structured, practical solutions to improve kitchen workflows. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years of experience in kitchen management or a supervisory role within a fast-paced culinary setting. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team with a hands-on approach. Strong organizational skills, with a knack for establishing efficient systems and processes. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical and timely solutions. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, maintaining composure and ensuring smooth operation.
